Here are some inspectors that have the required TREC business license but more importantly are full code certified. You can also check the Yellow Pages as the choice is yours. In no case does any professional inspector recommend you use a real estate agents favorite inspector list. Remember, before you buy a home you should contact an inspector. Do not wait until the last minute as the best ones stay booked in advance.

Inspectors with high license numbers (e.g; 5000, 6000, 7000, 8000, 9000) are relatively new. Ask about the specialized experience required to uncover defects. None of this can be taught or learned from a class. The multi-inspector firms usually enlist these unexperienced inspectors as the experienced ones are independent. Multi-inspector firms typically cater to the real eatate agent market for the volume. The inspector splits the fee with the sponsoring inspector so volume may become a high priority. Independent inspectors concentrate on the personal, professional service with only the clients interest at stake.
